SAN VITERO MUNICIPALITY

Located in the province of Zamora, it belongs to the action area of the Local Action Group ADATA, which covers a region on the border between Spain and Portugal, comprising 31 municipalities across the natural districts of Aliste, Tábara, and Alba. None of these municipalities exceeds 1,500 inhabitants, and together they include 100 villages, with a total area of 2,018.09 km² and a population density of 6.73 inhabitants/km². The area faces a serious demographic challenge due to population ageing. The Local Action Group's staff consists of 14 people.

INSTITUTO DE RESTAURACIÓN Y MEDIO AMBIENTE SL (IRMA)

IRMA is a private organization focused on rural development in all its aspects, including the protection of natural heritage, sustainable use of natural resources, and the promotion of organic farming, chestnut cultivation, mushroom forestry, and related activities. IRMA participates in Community Initiative projects and other European programmes in collaboration with a wide range of entities across Mediterranean countries.

IRMA has delivered and continues to deliver numerous training actions, including entrepreneurship training, to unemployed individuals to help them start their own businesses or find employment. Several cooperatives have been established with its support, including a highly successful women's cooperative in a very remote area. IRMA also supports other types of social enterprises managed by NGOs or charities (often providing services for people with disabilities or vulnerable groups such as drug addicts). The organization delivers social inclusion training through a highly skilled and motivated team offering a wide range of services related to rural development, training, and the implementation of EU programmes and initiatives.

CIA TOSCANA – Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori Toscana

CIA TOSCANA is a professional farmers' association that represents and defends the economic, social, and civil interests of farmers and the rural community.

CIA TOSCANA emphasizes the vital importance of agriculture for the economy and society. It is a democratic organization, independent from political parties, trade unions, and government. Its members include farmers, agricultural businesses, rural estate managers, retirees, Confederation employees, technical staff, and anyone working in a rural setting. All members have equal rights and responsibilities and can hold any position of responsibility without privilege or discrimination.

Associação de Desenvolvimento dos Concelhos da Raia Nordestina (CoraNE)

CoraNE is a Portuguese non-profit organization with extensive experience and expertise in local and rural development. Established in 1995, it operates in the target area known as "Terra Fria Transmontana", which includes the municipalities of Bragança, Miranda do Douro, Vimioso, and Vinhais.

CoraNE brings to the project its deep knowledge of rural and local development in this vast territory (Concelhos da Raia Nordestina), and its strong track record in implementing non-formal vocational training programmes for the general population. Terra Fria Transmontana is a highly rural region of great ecological and environmental value, as evidenced by its numerous protected areas, including two Natural Parks and parts of the Natura 2000 Network—Sites of Community Importance (SCI) and Special Protection Areas (SPA).

CCIF CYPRUS – Center for Social Innovation

CCIF Cyprus provides education and conducts research in the fields of social innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable growth, and the inclusion of youth, the elderly, refugees, and migrants. CCIF creates a supportive environment for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, equipping them with the digital skills needed to access today's job market and improve their chances of fair treatment.

The team encourages dialogue among local communities to address common fears and foster inclusive and peaceful societies. CCIF aims to help communities recognize that, despite differences in discourse, the underlying values and emotions are not only equally valid but often shared—working to build connections and mutual understanding across groups.

SERVIMA – Servicios Ambientales y Recursos Educativos, S.L.

SERVIMA is a small environmental consultancy specialized in training and educational services related to the environment, heritage, natural and cultural resources, and sustainability. It has two main complementary areas: the Programmes Department (which covers training, education, and interpretation) and the Technical Department (Consulting and Studies). In addition to its staff, SERVIMA relies on a broad network of collaborators that enables it to respond effectively to a wide range of services. The team includes professionals with diverse backgrounds—biologists, geographers, educators, guides, teachers, graphic designers, engineers, illustrators, etc.—forming a multidisciplinary team that ensures an inclusive, holistic vision and a high standard of service quality.
